A Word From The Pastor—  

With slightly warmer temperatures this week, it was
nice to see the ground emerge from beneath the snow.
The birds we had been feeding for weeks have all
disappeared as they found food elsewhere and have
been replaced by a herd of robins. Not a flock, but a herd!
At closest count my husband and I came up with about 200!
They moved in droves across the lawn eating worms and
signaling spring to my mind! When I see this sight each year,
I move into spring mode! Spring cleaning could begin any day
now with closets being torn apart and organized, curtains being
washed and pressed and windows scrubbed and shining!

What signals a change of season for you? Birds? Flowers?
Temperatures? What about the change in spiritual seasons?
World events? Signs and wonders? Jesus said in Matthew 24,
“you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see that you
are not alarmed...there will be famines and earthquakes, these
are the beginning of sorrows…” Or we might say, the beginning
of a new  season. With the evening news spilling out into your
living room, allow this time to be a signal—a sign of change.
Don’t be alarmed, but prepared. Let your spiritual spring cleaning begin.

The day is coming, when Jesus is coming!  A day when Heaven
will be our forever home. This life is a dressing room filled with
choices—so put on Christ. And join the multitudes from around the
globe as we shout, “Hallelujah!” For the marriage of the Lamb has
come and the Bride has made herself ready! Rev.19
